The Atwood House is an 1894 Neoclassical Georgian Revival mansion, two
blocks from Nebraska's capitol. This unique 7,500-plus square foot home is decorated
throughout with Victorian antiques. The bed and breakfast has 3 units, accommodating
up to 2 people per unit. Pets and smoking are not allowed. The property is not
handicap accessible.
Experience the elegance of a three-room suite. The Atwood suite is
Lincoln's most elegant bridal suite. It has more than 800 square feet of ambiance
including a working fireplace and 6-window bay in the sitting area. The bedroom has a
king-size antique three-piece walnut and marble Victorian bedroom set and ornate walnut
wardrobe. The bath is patterned after a Roman bath. It has a two-person corner
heart-shaped whirlpool tub surrounded by columns and marble.
Enjoy breakfast prepared in the award-winning kitchen. This exquisite fare
is served on bone china with sterling silver, Waterford® crystal and linens in the formal
dining room, the sun room, or in the privacy of your suite.
