Rental Rates and Seasons

Our season is mid-May through end of September (two night minimum stay in May and September). Our prime time season is mid-June, July and August whereupon we rent each of our 19 cabins by the week. The families that stay for a week tend to make friends and become a camp community by the end of their week as they all share the beach and games together and attend the numerous scheduled activities at the lodge throughout their stay. In May and September, we rent mainly to adult groups and couples who want to visit the peace and quiet of the Northwoods with its loon songs, vibrant sunsets, fresh pine scented air and roasted marshmallows over a lakeside campfire. Accommodation Details

We have 19 cabins and two campsites spread out nicely on 33 acres of forest, perched on the crystal clear waters of 11th Crow Wing Lake. With both traditionally rustic and brand new cabins, we have a variety to choose from for bigger reunion groups whose members have different budgets/needs. 6 of our cabins are HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE. Our three newest cabins feature fireplaces, whirlpool bathtubs, A/C, wrap-around deck and king beds, etc. All 19 cabins have a full kitchen equipped with refrigerators, stoves, ovens, microwaves, coffee makers, toasters, dishes, flatware, pots and pans, etc. Free wireless high-speed internet in lodge, some cabins have whirlpool tubs, fireplace, dishwashers. Linens are provided. Please bring towels.

Our historic lodge, built in 1898, right on the water, seats around 50+ people and makes a great gathering place for all our activities. It features:

Crow Wing Crest Lodge (a.k.a. CWC), is a seasonal family vacation resort in the Northwoods of Minnesota. We specialize in three things:

(1) Fishin' - Trophy Walleye and endless panfish (good northern pike and bass, too!)

(2) Family Fun - big, sandy BEACH, playboats, volleyball, basketball, shuffleboard, log playhouse, playgrounds, campfire rings, mini-carousel, and summer activities like Bingo, bead lady, craft hour, kids nature hike, fishing contest, pool table tournaments, board game & movie night, potluck luau, etc.

(3) and Feelin' Good - on-site services of reflexology and massage, plus aromatherapy classes, lakeside sauna, drumming circles and Relaxation Retreats!

We LOVE women's groups! Book clubs, scrap bookers, quilting, friends or family: Ask about a free aromatherapy class, drum circles, lakeside sauna, and reflexology or massage available year round!

The lakefront property has a sand beach, dock, sauna, children's playground, golf course, tennis court, volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, picnic tables, barbecue grills, fire pits, and laundry facilities. The vacation property also has a boat launch.

No smoking in cabins, ashtrays provided on decks outside. NO PETS. Six of the cabins are handicapped accessible.

Surroundings

The resort is located on Located on spring fed 800 acre lake and is secluded. The beach is 200 ft long with a gradual slope to a swim raft. Nearby water recreation includes swimming, snorkeling, fishing, water skiing, and canoeing. Other nearby recreation includes golf, tennis, hiking, bicycling, and horseback riding. Also music festivals, craft fairs, winery, water slides, and petting zoo.

Bring your bike! The paved Heartland Trail is less than a mile from our doors.

ATV groups - We are less than a half mile from the Paul Bunyan Forest and marked trails. No need to trailer-up!

Best of both worlds: CWC has the advantage of both the peace and quiet of forest and lake, and still being within a few miles of convenient amenities (groceries, gas, parks, restaurants, shopping, etc.). Check out the local winery, horseback riding, antique shops, museums, craft fairs and music festivals.

11th Crow Wing Lake covers 800 acres and has a water depth of 80 feet. Motors are allowed. No JET SKIs please! Fish include walleye, northern pike, largemouth bass, crappie, bluegill, sun fish, perch, and bull head. Fishing guide service is available.
