Vacation Home Rental Rates and Seasons
Wayne's Last Resort rents on a weekly basis during the
May 3 thru Sept 27: $1300 per
week...except July 5 thru 12 (Cherry Festival): $1800.
The property rents Saturday to Saturday with check in
at 3:00 pm and check out at 11:00 am.
A 50% deposit is required to confirm a reservation.
The balance is due on arrival, plus a $200 refundable security fee.
Wayne's Last Resort is the walkout (beach) level of a
contemporary home on beautiful East Grand Traverse Bay, 5 miles North of
Traverse City on delightful Old Mission Peninsula.
The recently renovated unit sleeps 4 comfortably and
is an incredible place for 2 couples or 1 couple with 2 well mannered
Accommodations include approximately 900 sq ft of
lakeside living with carpeted living/dining rooms, ceramic tiled
kitchen, bath, laundry, and 2 bedrooms.
You are virtually "on the water" since every
room has a view of the bay. You have 100' of direct, private waterfront
only steps from your door. A deck, picnic table, grill and lots of lawn
are at the water's edge. There is off road parking for 2 cars and a
small boat trailer...a launch is nearby.
The Resort has baseboard H/W heat, ceiling fans in the
bedrooms, washer/dryer, cable TV with VCR/DVD, and stereo with tape/CD.
The kitchen is complete with disposal, dish washer, microwave, coffee
maker, all pots/pans, dishes, glasses, and tableware. All linens,
towels, soaps, and paper products are provided.
Sorry, no pets...except fish. Smoking is outside only.
The house is not handicapped
The home is secluded and quiet, and the property is wooded.
The home is on East Grand Traverse Bay where water recreation includes swimming, snorkeling, fishing, water
skiing, canoeing,. Other nearby recreation
includes golf, tennis, hiking, bicycling, horseback riding, and hunting.
There is lot's of stuff to do, places to dine, and
many attractions on Old Mission Peninsula...it's a very special place.
There is even more available in Traverse City and the surrounding
area...combine this with the incredible water opportunities and you
won't get even close to bored.

East Grand Traverse Bay covers 400 acres and has a water depth of
400 feet. Fish
include salmon, perch, trout, bass, walleye, pike, and white fish. There
