Weekly In Season Rates: 6/22/13 - 8/10/13 range from $900 - $1700
Pre and post season rates: $100 - $270 per night
Monthly rates start $600 per month

Accommodation Details

The resort has 7 cottages, ranging from 1 to 3 bedrooms with 1 bath, and accommodating 4 to 10 people. The cottages are 150 to 350 ft from the lake. The cottages have heat, freestanding fireplaces, decks, radios, and cable TVs. The kitchens have coffee makers, microwaves, dishes, and pots and pans. Linens and towels are provided.

Traverse City's best kept secret! Enjoy spectacular views and unlimited water activities on beautiful Spider Lake. Our cottages provide you with all the conveniences of home no matter what the season. Summer water temps reach into the 80's making the lake swimmable from May through September. 400 feet of sandy beach with sloped access is ideal for small children. Kayaks and row boats are available for use at your leisure and boat motors are available for rent. A fire pit is available at waters edge for late night chats and roasting marshmallows. The private island has a tiki bar.

The lakefront property has a sandy beach, two docks that enclose the swimming area, children's playground, tennis court, volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, barbecue grills, fire pits, and picnic tables. Kayaks, row boats, canoe, and water trampoline. A dock is available to park your own boat.

Smoking is not allowed, pets are allowed in off-season. The house is not handicapped accessible.


The home is secluded and quiet, and the property is on a private island with 8 beautiful wooded acres. Water recreation includes swimming, fishing, water skiing, and canoeing. Other nearby recreation includes golf, tennis, hiking, bicycling, horseback riding, and hunting. Winter activities include ice skating, sledding, snowmobiling, and downhill skiing.

There is plenty to do in downtown Traverse City just 13 miles away including shopping, wine tasting, fine dining, bike and paddle board rentals, putt putt golf and much more!

Spider Lake has a public boat launch and three islands open to the public. It covers 458 acres and has a water depth of 30 feet. No high speed boating between 7:30pm and 11:00am. Fish include Perch, Bass, Pike, and Blue Gill.
