The cottage has an awesome view of Long Lake - a wonderfully clean fresh water lake. Enjoy beautiful summer sunsets!

The vacation cottage has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and sleeps 8 comfortably. It has been tastefully decorated with modern amenities. The cottage has heat and air conditioning, a fireplace, washer/dryer, phone, cable TV, VCR, radio and CD player. The fully-equipped kitchen has a coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, dishes, and pots and pans. Linens and towels are provided.

The lakefront property has a grassy lawn, dock, barbecue grill, and fire pit.

Pets are allowed with permission. No smoking in the cottage. The house is partially handicapped accessible.

Surroundings

The cottage is secluded and quiet, and the property is wooded. The cottage is on Long Lake where water recreation includes swimming, snorkeling, fishing, water skiing, and canoeing. Water frontage has a hard sand bottom that is shallow for swimming. Other nearby recreation includes golf, hiking, bicycling, horseback riding, snowmobiling, downhill and cross-country skiing.

This cottage is 15 minutes from Downtown Traverse City. Traverse City is one of the preferred vacation destinations in the upper midwest - great shopping, restaurants and natural activities. National Lake shore Park and numerous state parks are in the area. Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, Mackinaw Bridge, Vasa Trail, and Interlochen Arts Academy are all very close.

Long Lake is an all sports lake with sandy bottom, 7 islands to explore and 2 public boat ramps. Long Lake covers 3000 acres and has a water depth of 85 feet. Fish include walleye, sunfish, and northern pike.
