Awesome vacation spot less than 10 minutes from
Traverse City on Bass Lake (between Long and Silver lake). Beautifully
furnished home right on the water - no steps to climb down, no roads to
cross - 150 feet of sand beach and sparkling clear water is just 20 feet
from your door. Every room has a gorgeous lake view.
Lakeside Delight is a 1,750 square foot modern home
with 3 bedrooms (2 have
queen beds, 1 huge one has a queen plus 2 twins) plus 2 full baths. The
home has central air, a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher,
laundry room, new hardwood floors, high speed internet, 5 cable TVs, DVD
players, telephones, a children's video library and lots of bestsellers
to read. NEW in 2007 - the guest house has been converted to a sparkling
new game room - perfect for separating the generations since it's just
across the deck but allows for evening activities when others may be
sleeping in the big house. The new game room has a wall of glass facing
the lake and adds 400 more square feet of space to enjoy.
350 acre Bass Lake has a water depth of 30 feet and is
an all sports lake (all size motors allowed). You can bring your own
boat or borrow either of ours - the pontoon pictured or a fast boat - at
a low additional cost. Fishing is great even right off the dock. Fish
include bass (of course). pike (big ones), perch and pan fish.
Three full lakefront lots assure privacy and the dead
end road means no traffic noise - but you're still just 5 miles from all
the action of Traverse City - malls, 24 hour casinos, golfing, hot air
balloons, wineries and every kind of fun outdoor activity you can
There's a gas grill and dining furniture on the sunny
lakeside deck and a charcoal grill and picnic tables in the big yard. On
the beach is a big wood swing to watch unbelievable sunsets from and a
nice firepit with firewood to gather round in the evenings. A canoe and
two inflatable canvas single person pontoons are parked on the beach for
your use. There's plenty of deck chairs, loungers and tables everywhere.
All linens except beach towels are provided, plus an initial supply of
paper and soap products.
If you have a family member that can't do steps,
Lakeside Delight is truly a vacation paradise for them. They can be totally on their own
- from the kitchen to the bedroom to the bathroom to the outside
deckchairs to the sandy beach and into the water - no climbing involved!
Dogs are welcome with just a few restrictions, and at
NO extra charge. Smoking is allowed but outside only. There's lots of
parking for boat trailers and vehicles in the yard.
Best of all - the whole compound is just for you and
your family - no close neighbors, no traffic noise - it's so relaxing
you won't want to leave.
The home is on 3 grass covered flat lots with hardwood
trees scattered about for shade. Entire lakefront is sandy beach with
extensive single level decking leading out from the house. Property
