The Michigan vacation home is available for rent all year. Rental rates are:

All rates are for 6 persons, for 7-8 persons add $100/wk, for 9-10 persons add $200/wk. OUR rates include TAX.

Accommodation Details

The very BEST Beach! Just like the Caribbean only better, and closer too. Get away from it all and avoid the crowds. This sugar sand PRIVATE beach is YOURS for the best swimming, tanning, boating vacation imaginable. Gently sloped hard rippled sand bottom, warm water, protected bay. Enjoy your morning coffee and stunning sunrises over Suttons Bay from the huge deck or lower level patio. Build sand castles, and search for Petosky stones. The kids will never want to go home, and neither will you! Peaceful privacy for family gatherings, and good times with friends.

The lakefront vacation home has 3 bedrooms + den / 2 baths (1 full, 1 half) and sleeps 10. The cottage has heat, a fireplace, deck, balcony, TV, and fire pit. The fully-equipped kitchen has a coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, dishes, and pots and pans. Linens and towels are provided. Please bring beach towels.

Absolutely no smoking. Responsible pet owners only, $200/week for 1 pet. The house is not handicapped accessible.

Surroundings

The home is secluded and on Suttons Bay - Sparkling clear, clean freshwater, hard rippled sandy bottom. Don't settle for a murky inland lake when you can have a fabulous crystal clear big-water bay. Gently sloped, protected warmer water, the kids will stay in all day!

Water recreation includes Swimming, Snorkeling/Diving, Fishing, Boating, Sailing, Water-skiing, Windsurfing, Jet Skiing, and Shelling. Other nearby recreation includes Hiking, Biking, Golf, Tennis, Cross Country Skiing, and Snowmobiling. Enjoy Wildlife Viewing, Shopping, Restaurants, Cinemas, Sightseeing, Sunning/Funning, tanning, building sand castles, endless summer beach walking, bonfires and s'mores. Centrally located and close to Traverse City, Leland, Northport, and Lake Leelanau.

Walk to Suttons Bay Village for wonderful restaurants, shopping, get an ice cream cone by the little creek that runs through town, stroll through the Village Marina, and check out the yachts. Rent a video or (better yet) enjoy roasting hot dogs or s'mores at a beach fire in the bon fire ring. Get to know each other again. plenty of room to roam in this three bedroom home with a finished walk-out lower level.

Suttons Bay is part of Lake Michigan and is shallow by the shore and 200 ft deep in middle. No boat motor size limits. Fish include perch, trout, salmon, bass, whitefish, and walleye (email for photos of my brother the fisherman).
