Accommodation Details

The vacation cottage has 2 bedrooms / 1 bath, and sleeps 6. The cottage has a fireplace, wide deck, washer/dryer, phone, TV and VCR. The fully-equipped kitchen has electric heat, a coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, dishes, and pots and pans. Linens and towels are not provided.

The lakefront community has a nearby sand beach on Lake Michigan, tennis court, and a barbecue grill.

Pets and smoking are not allowed. The house is not handicapped accessible.

Nearby recreation includes swimming, golf, tennis, hiking, and bicycling. South Haven boat rental and harbor amenities are only 7 miles away.

Linden Hills, where Hillandale is located, was founded at the turn of the 20th century by conservation-minded outdoor enthusiasts. Roads remain unpaved and limited auto traffic is allowed in the Hills. Most cottages are relatively secluded in a lovely wooded setting. Hillandale, while not a beachfront property, has easy access about 100 yards up the road from Lake Michigan. Tennis court is a short distance down a wooded path.

All cottages in Linden Hills are family owned, and most have been held by the same families for generations. Just seven miles from South Haven which provides a bustling resort atmosphere, with harbor side activities and good dining.
