The Michigan vacation getaway cottage is available for rent all year. Rentals are for weekends or weekly.

Weekend (Fri - Sun) rates range from $395 to $695.
Weekly (6 nights) rates range from $695 to $1,195.

Accommodation Details

This beautiful resort has 2 cottages and a lodge, and sleeps up to 25 people. The North Cottage is 2 units in one with 4 bedrooms total (sleeps 8). The South Cottage has 2 bedrooms (sleeps 4). The lodge has 5 bedrooms (sleeps 10). The cottages have heat, fireplaces, deck, phone, cable TV/VCR, radio, and CD player. The fully-equipped kitchens have a coffee makers, microwaves, dishes, and pots and pans. Linens and towels are provided.

The lakefront property has a sand beach, hot tub, dock, horseshoes, barbecue grill, fire pit, picnic table, and washer/dryer. Paddle boats, canoe, and row boat furnished.

This resort can be rented for weddings, family reunions or corporate retreats!

Pets are allowed only with full resort rental. Smoking is outside only. The house is not handicapped accessible.

Surroundings

The resort is in the middle of the port Huron National Forest......very secluded property and quiet, with wildlife surroundings.

Water recreation includes swimming, fishing, canoeing. Other nearby recreation includes golf, hiking, bicycling, motorcycle riding, ATV trails, horseback riding, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, and hunting.

Within minutes of the Ausable river for canoeing or tubing. Minutes from marked state trails for snowmobiling and ATV's.

Horseshoe Lake covers 15 acres (private) and has a water depth of 18 feet. Motors are not allowed. Fish include all types......catch and release only.
