Cottage Rental Rates and SeasonsThe Michigan vacation lake resort has cottages available for rent from April through December. Rental rates for the lake cottages are $60 to $70 per day plus tax, or $420 to $490 per week plus tax, based on 4 person occupancy. Check in time is 2:00 p.m. CST; check out is 10:00 a.m. CST. Accommodation DetailsThe resort has 5 cottages that sleep 4 to 6 persons each. The cottages have heat and private bathrooms. Each fully-equipped kitchen has a color TV, coffee maker, dishes, and pots and pans. The vacation cottages are equipped with linens and towels. One cottage has a screened porch. Paddle boats are provided, and motor rentals are available at $5 per day or $25 per week. A sandy beach with children's playground are just a minute walk away. The property also has 2 piers, barbecue grills, volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, Playfort with swings and slide, and a fire pit. Guests are invited to relax by the campfire and enjoy magnificent sunsets. Pets are welcome but must be leashed and cleaned up after. Smoking is also permitted. The resort is not handicap accessible. SurroundingsThe resort cottages are secluded and quiet, and the property is wooded. The property is on spring-fed Norway Lake. Water recreation includes fishing, swimming, and canoeing. Nearby recreation includes golf, tennis, hiking, ORV trails, bicycling, horseback riding, Spring mushrooming, and white water rafting. Hunting includes: spring and fall turkey (when available), small game, grouse, woodcock, deer, and black bear. There are still some openings for November's gun season, and for muzzleloading also.Norway Lake covers approximately 53 acres and has a maximum water depth of 30 feet. Fish include largemouth bass, pike, walleye, crappies, bluegill and perch. Only electric trolling motors are allowed on the lake. Sportsman's Paradise Resort is in the upper peninsula of Michigan, between Felch and Ralph, 30 miles northeast of Iron Mountain, in the heart of the Copper Country State Forest. The beautiful region is blessed with many trout streams and rivers. Explore nearby iron mines, waterfalls, casino, and so much more. Gene's Pond, with 700 acres of fishing just behind Norway Lake, has hiking trails. Explore the surroundings, take in the scenery and maybe see a bear, wolf, badger, an occasional moose, and hundreds of deer.
