Accommodation detailsWith its king bed, four twin beds, and a futon, Brook Song is perfect for a family adventure or a romantic weekend retreat. The home accommodates 6 people and has central heat and air-conditioning, a gas burning fireplace, surrounding decks, paver patio, two balconies, satellite TV, VCR, DVD, and a washer and dryer. The fully equipped GE Profile kitchen includes a coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, dishes, and pots and pans. Linens and towels are provided. You'll also find a plate of treats and a fresh bouquet on the dining table. Special gourmet breakfasts are available upon request. The property has a picnic table and a gas grill is available upon request. There is easy access to Glen Lake and Lake Michigan. No pets and no smoking, please. The home is handicapped accessible. SurroundingsBordering on the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes National Park, Brook Song is located six miles from Glen Arbor on the side of a hill overlooking a creek, extensive flower gardens, and a mature forest. Imagine waking up and walking out on one of two balconies to savor the woodland birdsongs, waterfall music from the creek, and the peace of northern Michigan. Go for a stroll through the vegetable and flower gardens. We will answer questions about the flowers and may even offer you some starters. Enjoy fresh veggies and herbs from our gardens. Hike the trails on our 42-plus acres, and you'll see some of our abundant wildlife. Nearby water recreation on Glen Lake or Lake Michigan includes swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, waterskiing, and canoeing. Also fish for bass, perch, bluegill, whitefish, king salmon and trout. Boat rentals and a launch are available. Other recreation includes golf, tennis, hiking, bicycling, and horseback riding. Glen Arbor is a charming tourist destination within the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. It offers activities for everyone - reading on the beach, hiking the dunes, charter-fishing on Lake Michigan, ski and sail boat rentals, fine dining, and anything most people can imagine.
