This cozy cottage is available all year around for playing on the lake in the summer to skiing and snowmobiling in the winter months. Rates for the Cadillac Cottage on Lake Mitchell are $650 for a full week and $250 for a 3 day, 2 night weekend.

Accommodation Details

The cottage has a bathtub/shower combination, heat, gas log stove, porch, washer/dryer, TV and VCR/DVD. The fully-equipped kitchen has a full-size refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, dishes, and pots and pans. Linens and towels are provided.

The lakefront property has peaceful landscaping with a sand beach, dock, fire pit and picnic table. Other amenities include a paddle boat, canoe, beach toys and beach swing.

Pets are not allowed. Smoking is outside only. The house is not handicapped accessible.

Surroundings

Cadillac Cottage is on a cove in Lake Mitchell where water recreation includes swimming, fishing and water skiing. Area businesses provide rental watercraft and a boat launch is within 500 yards of the cottage.  Other nearby recreation includes golf, snowmobiling, downhill skiing and hunting.

Lake Mitchell and Lake Cadillac are connected by a channel. Lake Mitchell covers 2,580 acres and Lake Cadillac covers 1,120 acres. Motors are allowed on the lake. Fish include walleye, northern pike, crappie, bluegills, perch, largemouth and smallmouth bass.

A fertile body of water, 50% of Lake Cadillac is 15 feet deep or less. Over 95 percent of Lake Mitchell is less than 15 feet deep. Abundant fishing available while having wonderful water recreation too. There are sections of Lake Mitchell, very close to the cottage with large areas around 3-5 feet deep where playing in the water is especially fun for younger ones. There is a little cove with a sand beach that is shallow enough to walk all the way out into. An area  close to the shore was dredged for boat access.
