Vacation house rental rates and seasons

The Maryland vacation getaway house is available for rent year round. The house may be rented only by the week at $1000 per week plus a $500 security deposit (the $500 is refunded if property is not damaged). The $500 is due when the reservation is made and the $1000 rental is due upon arrival.

Accommodation details

The two story, 7 room vacation house sleeps 9 in 3 bedrooms upstairs and a futon in the living room downstairs. There is a full bath on the 2nd floor and a half bath on the 1st floor. The home has heat and air conditioning, a porch, washer/dryer, phone, TV and VCR. The fully-equipped kitchen has a coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, dishes, and pots and pans. Linens and towels are provided.

This is a nice, quiet place to stay for families coming to see the sights of the U.S. Capitol - Washington D.C.

Pets and smoking are not allowed. The home is not handicapped accessible.

Surroundings

The house is remote and very quiet, located on a 120 acre working farm where corn and soy beans are grown. Guests may walk through the farm and gardens.  Historic house on the property (not open to guests).

Nearby recreation includes swimming, boating and fishing. 5 miles away are North beach, Chesapeake beach and Chesapeake beach water park - on Chesapeake bay.

A shopping center with a Safeway and drugstore is 3 miles away.
