Rental rates and seasons

The Kentucky family vacation and golf resort is open all year. Daily rates range from $63 to $150, and weekly rates are $225 to $950. There is a 2-day minimum stay.

Accommodation details

The resort has 100 condominium rental units, accommodating up to 8 people per unit. All condominiums are privately owned and decorated to the individual owner's taste, ensuring that there are no two exactly alike. Each condo features a fully-equipped kitchen, central air-conditioning, color TV, grills, wood burning fireplace, and screened porch. Linens and towels are provided.

The site has basketball courts, a golf course, putting green, driving range, swimming pool, all-weather tennis courts, volleyball, playground, 24 hour security, laundry facilities, and a restaurant.

Smoking is permitted, pets are not. The resort is partially accessible to handicapped persons.

Surroundings

Woodson Bend Resort is located on a scenic 455 acre peninsula high above and surrounded by Lake Cumberland. The condominiums are tucked away among the trees that blanket the peninsula, providing a quiet, private, and real retreat away from it all. Your view of heavily wooded foothills, the emerald green lake, and limestone palisades rising over 300 feet above the water is a delightful setting for your vacation.

Enjoy on-site golf and tennis, and nearby hiking and bicycling opportunities. Water recreation includes swimming, trophy fishing, and water skiing. It's only a few short miles from Burnside or Somerset, and entertainment and area attractions are only minutes away. 

Lake Cumberland is approximately 63,000 acres, with a maximum water depth of 100 feet. Fish include varieties of bass, and bluegill, catfish, and crappie; guide service is available.
