Resort cabin rental rates and seasons

The Florida vacation resort with cabin rentals and campground sites is open all year. Rental rates for the river cabins are $95 to $195 per day, or $510 to $1150 per week. Call or e-mail for reduced monthly cabin rates, and campground rates.

Accommodation details

The vacation River resort has 21 cabins of varying size, accommodating from 6 to 10 people each. The vacation cabins have heat and air conditioning, decks, fireplaces, cable TV's, and kitchens with coffee makers, microwaves, dishes, and pots and pans. Linens are provided, towels are not.

The riverfront property has a pier or dock, swimming pool, children's playground, tennis court, volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, barbecue grills, fire pits, and laundry facilities. The resort has a boat launch. Bait and fishing tackle are available from the resort.

Pets and smoking are allowed. The resort is handicapped accessible.

Surroundings

Surrounded by the Ocala National Forest and Lake George Wildlife Area, the resort is Florida at its natural best. The secluded and quiet resort is on the beautiful St. John's River that connects to Lake George and Dexter. Water recreation includes swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, trophy fishing, boating and water-skiing, canoeing.

Old and young alike will find peace and tranquility on the banks of the National Heritage River. St. John's River is more than 200 miles long and has a maximum water depth of 11 feet. Fish include largemouth bass, catfish, and panfish. Fishing guide service is available.

Other nearby recreation includes golf, hiking, bicycling, horseback riding, and hunting.
