Cook is the western gateway to the Superior National Forest. It is near the center of Arrowhead County, a wonderful location for an outdoor vacation.

	The city of Cook is about 25 miles north of Virginia, MN, which in turn is about 65 miles north of Duluth.
	Cook is a small town with a population of about 700.
	Despite its small size, it has a great hospital, many churches, schools, grocery stores, MacDonald's, garages, gift shops, realtors, restaurants, hardware and retail stores.
	The city has a golf course, and several restaurants.
